Enoch Adegoke Wins Men's 100m Title at MTN Championship

Enoch Adegoke, an Olympic finalist and former world U-20 champion, achieved his season's best performance by winning the men's 100m title at the MTN Championship Season 4 held in Ibadan. He finished the race with a time of 10.15 seconds, marking a significant improvement as he aims to regain his top form after battling injuries since the Olympic semi-final in 2021.

Adegoke expressed his desire to consistently run around the 10.00 to 10.10 seconds mark, having previously struggled to maintain times below 10.30 seconds. In the heats, he recorded a time of 10.30 seconds and 10.34 seconds in the semi-finals.

Adegoke acknowledged the strong competition from Chidera Ezeakor, who pushed him in the final. This performance is seen as a positive signal of Adegoke's return to form as he looks to build on his past successes in athletics.
