Enoch Adegoke Shines at MTN Champs Finals in Ibadan

The MTN Champs Finals kicked off at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, featuring a series of competitive track and field events. Enoch Adegoke, serving as the MTN Champs ambassador, led the men's 100m heats with the fastest overall time of 10.30 seconds, closely followed by Tejiri Godwin and Chidera Ezeakor, both clocking 10.32 seconds.

In the women's 100m, Maria Thompson Omokw set the pace with a time of 11.42 seconds, emerging as the fastest qualifier, followed by Chioma Nweke at 11.70 seconds and Lydia Ajayi Bibilomo at 11.81 seconds. The men's 400m saw Sisan Efejuku record the fastest time of 47.70 seconds, narrowly edging Ezekiel Asuquo at 47.71 seconds.

Pemisir Adedoyin Adepoju led the women's 400m with a personal best of 54.28 seconds. The event also highlighted junior and youth categories, with standout performances from athletes like Kazali Iddrisu and Treasur Okerek.
