Adebayo Adelabu Declares Oyo Governorship Ambition

Adebayo Adelabu, a former Minister of Power, officially declared his ambition to contest for the governorship of Oyo State in the 2027 general elections on Tuesday in Ibadan. He presented a development blueprint titled the "Oyo Rebirth Agenda," which aims to restore and rebuild the state’s economy, ensuring massive job creation.

Adelabu emphasized the need for genuine progress and prosperity for the people, focusing on grassroots development, local government administration, public safety, agricultural revolution, and comprehensive social welfare reforms. He called for unity among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, stating that no progress can be made without solidarity.

Adelabu described himself as a committed servant leader, not just a politician, and expressed determination to deliver measurable results. His declaration was supported by various groups within the APC, highlighting a collective mission to prioritize party supremacy and discipline ahead of the upcoming elections.
