Adelabu Rejects N150m Blackmail Demand by Cleric for Spiritual Intercession

Bayo Adelabu, a political figure, has filed a petition accusing Primate Elijah Ayodel of attempting to blackmail him for N150 million in exchange for spiritual intercession to secure his victory in the 2027 Oyo State governorship election. Ayodel allegedly demanded the money for costly spiritual items and instruments, claiming divine instructions.

Adelabu rejected the demands, labeling them as politically motivated and not genuine spiritual practices. The Department of State Services (DSS) has been urged to investigate the matter further.
