Adeleke Warns Against Opposition Plans to Disrupt Osun Parks

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke issued a warning regarding alleged plots by opposition elements to invade motor parks across the state, which he described as a sinister move aimed at destabilizing public order. In a statement released on Friday, spokesperson Olawal Rashe conveyed that credible reports indicated certain individuals linked to opposition groups were planning to create chaos in local government areas.

Governor Adeleke emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and tranquility in motor parks, which have been stable since he took office in November 2022. He recalled previous violence that led to loss of lives and property, urging the police, led by Ibrahim Gotan, to take preemptive measures against any potential unrest.

The governor's statement reflects a commitment to ensuring that the transport sector remains free from instability and conflict, as he vowed to prevent any resurgence of violence in Osun State.
