Adeleke Critiques Oyebamiji's Seven-Point Agenda in Osun

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke publicly criticized Bola Oyebamiji's seven-point agenda, which was presented as part of the APC's manifesto. Adeleke's spokesperson, Olawal Rashe, stated that the manifesto was poorly thought out and aimed to deceive the public.

He examined the APC's economic revival plans, specifically mentioning that during the tenure of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, less than N100 million was allocated annually for agricultural cash crops. In contrast, Adeleke emphasized his administration's significant investments in agriculture, including tractors and seedlings.

He challenged Oyebamiji's claims regarding the state's internal revenue generation and worker welfare, asserting that the previous administration failed to empower the workforce adequately. Adeleke further dismissed Oyebamiji's agenda as lacking clarity and vision, suggesting that it has not gained substantial public support.

The criticism came shortly after Oyebamiji unveiled his agenda, which focuses on poverty alleviation and job creation, aiming to resonate with the people of Osun.
