Davido Celebrates Uncle Ademola Adeleke's Re-election Victory

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, known as Davido, celebrated the re-election of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as the Governor of Osun State, which took place on August 15. Davido characterized the election as a "war" against 17 governors and 50 senators who opposed his uncle.

He expressed gratitude to the voters of Osun for their overwhelming support and noted that the governor's victory should serve as a lesson for political leaders nationwide about the importance of genuine service to the people. Davido, who is the chairman of the Osun State Sports Trust Fund, indicated plans to focus on youth and sports development initiatives following the election, including the establishment of a recreation center with various sports facilities.

Ademola Adeleke secured a second term by defeating Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress in the recent election.
