Adesiyan, Ogunbiyi Back Oyebamiji for Osun Governorship

Alhaji Abduljelili Adesiyan, a former Minister of Police Affairs, and Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, a former governorship candidate of the Accord Party, called on the people of Osun State to vote for Asiwaju Munirudeen Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, in the upcoming election scheduled for August 15. Their appeal was made during a political rally organized by the APC in Odo-Omu, which attracted thousands of party supporters, including members of various political parties who recently defected to the APC.

Adesiyan described Oyebamiji as a qualified candidate and stressed the need for Osun State to return to progressive governance. Ogunbiyi highlighted Oyebamiji's capability to provide the leadership necessary to transform the state, improve education, healthcare, commerce, and infrastructure.

Omooba Dotun Babayemi, the Director General of the APC Governorship Campaign Council for Osun West, expressed optimism about the party's chances in the election while urging all political stakeholders to maintain peace and avoid violence.
