Adetilewa Owodunni Transitions to Hospitality with Dull Lagos

Adetilewa Owodunni, a 20-year finance professional, has pivoted from a career in banking to the hospitality industry, launching Dull Lagos, a contemporary nightlife venue located on Bishop Oluwol Street, Victoria Island. Owodunni's journey began in the banking sector, where he held various roles, including senior revenue supervisor at Lagos State Internal Revenue Service and business development executive in fintech.

He decided to pursue his passion for hospitality, aiming to create immersive nightlife experiences. Dull Lagos, known for its serene interior and fine dining, has attracted high-profile guests, including musicians Davido, Tiwa Savage, and actress Genevieve Nnaji.

The venue temporarily closed in June 2025 for renovations and is set to reopen in November 2025, with plans to enhance its cultural offerings, including a monthly jazz residency titled "Super Session." The venue will also host live performances and themed nights to create a vibrant entertainment destination.
