Ado Bayero Mall Management Denies Sale Rumors

The management of Ado Bayero Mall, represented by General Manager David Okpanachi, issued a statement confirming that the mall is not listed for sale and has not appointed any agents to represent it in the market. The statement emphasized that Ado Bayero Mall remains a key retail destination in Kano, focusing on providing a secure and high-quality environment for tenants and customers.

The management advised the public, investors, and business partners to exercise caution and refrain from engaging with individuals or entities claiming to represent the sale of the mall, as these claims are unauthorized and may constitute fraudulent activity. Usman Hassan Darma, the President of the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA), also dismissed reports circulating on social media about the mall being for sale, labeling them as false.

He clarified that the land on which the mall is built belongs to KACCIMA and that there are leasing arrangements in place for a 35-year period, after which the property will revert to the chamber.
