AFIT Convocation: Defence Minister Highlights National Growth

During the combined 2nd, 3rd, and 4th convocation ceremony of the Armed Forces Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna, Defence Minister Christoph Musa highlighted the institute's role in producing skilled manpower crucial for Nigeria's national growth and security. He urged graduates to embrace patriotism, discipline, and innovation as they transition from academic pursuits to national service.

Musa stressed that graduation is not merely about obtaining a degree but about becoming custodians of Nigeria's future. He called on graduates to translate their knowledge into practical solutions that will positively impact society.

The ceremony also recognized outstanding students, including Oluwatimilehi, who achieved a CGPA of 4.99 in Aerospace Engineering, and Amrah Ahm Abdulkadir, who scored 4.99 in Computer Cyber Security. The event was attended by notable figures, including the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Anek, and former Chiefs of Air Staff.
