Atiku Abubakar Meets Hayatu-Deen After ADC Primary Elections

Following the conclusion of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) primary elections, Atiku Abubakar met with Alhaji Muhammad Hayatu-Deen in a closed-door session in Lagos. Atiku emerged as the ADC's presidential candidate, having been declared the winner of the primary.

However, Hayatu-Deen rejected the election process, alleging irregularities and subsequently boycotting the final results collated in Abuja. Former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi also rejected the primary's outcome, alleging manipulation of the voting process.

In light of Atiku's emergence, he appealed to aggrieved aspirants to work together to achieve victory for the party. Atiku specifically invited both Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen to join efforts to "save democracy" in the country, emphasizing the need for leadership that the people can rely on.
