Troops Disrupt Major Terrorist Networks in North East Nigeria

Troops from the Joint Task Force North East, operating under Operation Hadin Kai, have successfully disrupted major terrorist networks in North East Nigeria. According to a statement from the media information office of Operation Hadin Kai, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba reported significant achievements in counter-terrorism operations.

These operations resulted in the arrest of terrorist collaborators and the disruption of logistics supply chains. Notable successes were recorded across Borno and Yobe states, with troops making a breakthrough against terrorist logistics networks in the Benisheikh market area.

Troops, alongside forest guards, arrested Girema Aliko, a 40-year-old suspect linked to Boko Haram and ISWAP logistics, who was found transporting 30 liters of premium motor spirit. Additionally, the 7 Division Provost Group arrested Moham Bulama, a 25-year-old from Ngawom Muna Garag within the Maiduguri metropolitan council, who reportedly expressed willingness to provide intelligence support for ongoing operations.
