Troops Eliminate 12 ISWAP Fighters in Kirawa Attack

On May 22, 2026, troops from the Joint Task Force North East Operation Hadin Kai successfully repelled an attack on a military post located in Kirawa, situated along the Nigeria-Cameroon border. The operation resulted in the elimination of 12 fighters affiliated with ISWAP/Boko Haram.
