AGF Prince Fagbemi Defends Dropping Cases, Denies Political Influence

Oba Otudeko and former AMCON MD Ahmed Kuru due to recovered funds and lack of direct links to crimes. Fagbemi clarified that cases like Arik Air would proceed.

The decision was explained at a ministry retreat in Akwa Ibom State. The AGF emphasized avoiding needless trials based on complainants' grievances.

Two pending cases, including one involving Fidelity Bank MD Dr. Nneka, would continue.
