Woman Accuses Security Operatives of Plotting Husband's Death

Mrs. Ifeoma Onyemee from Eziama village, Uli in Ihiala LGA, Anambra State, has accused two operatives of the Agunechemba security outfit, identified as AK and Udo, of planning to eliminate her husband, Mr. Chimobi Onyemee. This accusation follows Mr. Onyemee's petition on July 24, 2026, to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Security, Ken Emeakayi, and the Commissioner of Police, detailing alleged atrocities committed by the operatives, including operating illegal detention cells and extrajudicial killings.

Instead of addressing these allegations, the operatives allegedly fabricated murder charges against Mr. Onyemee, claiming he killed a man in 2022. Mrs. Onyemee expressed concern that the operatives aimed to silence her husband to cover up their alleged crimes.

Despite the petition being nearly two months old, no action has been taken against the accused, who continue their activities freely.
