A’Ibom Rector Receives Prestigious Leadership Award

Mr. Eduma Essien, the rector of Federal Polytechnic Ukana in Essien Udim Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, was honored with the Sir Ahmadu Bello Sardauna of Sokoto Integr Legacy Platinum Leadership Award by the Northern Youth Organisation Nigeria.

The award ceremony took place at the institution's main campus, where Essien was formally inducted into the organization's Hall of Fame. Dr.

Isah Ododo, the president of the organization, commended Essien for his commitment to advancing education and empowering young people across Nigeria. The award recognizes Essien's significant contributions to leadership and youth empowerment initiatives, particularly in promoting entrepreneurial skills among Nigerian youth.

In response, Essien expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating it would inspire him to enhance access to quality education and strengthen entrepreneurial programs.
