AIG Foundation and Oxford Launch Leadership Program

The AIG Foundation, led by Executive Vice Chair Aig Imoukhued, has announced a partnership with the University of Oxford to launch the sixth cohort of its flagship AIG Public Leaders Programme (PLP). This initiative is designed to equip high-potential public sector leaders across Africa with the skills and networks necessary to drive institutional reform.

Applications for the program are open to qualified public servants from English-speaking African countries until April 12, 2026. The program is scheduled to commence in October 2026.

Aig Imoukhued emphasized that the PLP is tailored to meet the complex challenges of the public sector in Africa, aiming to implement and sustain change. Since its launch in 2021, the program has had a measurable impact, with alumni implementing 230 reform projects across various sectors, including healthcare, finance, agriculture, and education.

Additionally, Titilola Vivour Adeniyi, Executive Secretary of Lagos State DSVA, has launched a security self-report tool for survivors of domestic sexual abuse to document incidents safely.
