Aikhomu Foundation Proposes Partnership for Medical Center

The Aikhomu Foundation, under the leadership of Chairman Chief Leemon Ikpea, is pursuing a partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria to manage a 62-bed medical center located in Idumu-Iyase, Ewatto, Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State. This proposal was presented during a courtesy visit to the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, in Abuja.

The medical facility, built by the Agbonjagwe Leemon Ikpea Foundation (ALIF), aims to address healthcare challenges in the community. The Foundation proposes a public-private partnership where the Federal Government would operate and manage the hospital while retaining ownership.

The facility is equipped with various medical services, including wards, operating theatres, and emergency units. If the partnership is established, it is expected to ensure professional administration and high clinical standards.

Additionally, the Foundation invited Professor Pate to inaugurate the Aikhomu Foundation and formally receive the medical facility on behalf of the Federal Government.
