Airlines Release List of 8 Behaviours Not Allowed at Airports, Lifts Ibom Air Passengers' No-Fly Ban

Airlines, through the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), have released a list of 8 behaviors deemed unruly and not allowed at airports. This comes after a passenger, Comfort Emmanson, clashed with a crew member and was initially banned from flying for life by Ibom Air.

However, the ban has now been lifted due to Emmanson's remorse and the withdrawal of the complaint. AON emphasized the importance of educating the public on the consequences of unruly behavior and urged aviation agencies to maintain safety and discipline.

The statement also highlighted the need for proper training and management of disruptive incidents. The Nigerian Bar Association has offered free legal representation to Emmanson, criticizing Ibom Air for the ban without a fair hearing.

AON reiterated its commitment to addressing unruly passenger behavior and participating in retraining programs.
