Airtel Africa (AIRTELAFRI) Share Buyback: 1.43M Shares Purchased

Airtel Africa Plc has disclosed that it purchased a total of 1,427,030 ordinary shares of USD 0.50 each during the week of 3 to 7 August 2026, under a share buyback programme authorised by shareholders and announced on 22 May 2026. The purchases were executed through Barclays Capital Securities Limited across five trading venues: London Stock Exchange, BATS Europe, CHI-X Europe, Aquis Exchange, and Turquoise.

Daily volumes ranged from a low of 5,204 shares on Thursday 6 August to a high of 479,036 shares on Monday 3 August. The volume-weighted average prices across the week ranged from 328.21 GBp to 329.12 GBp per share. The lowest individual price paid during the period was 321.00 GBp and the highest was 333.80 GBp.

All purchased shares are to be cancelled, not held in treasury. Since the buyback programme commenced on 22 May 2026, the company has purchased a cumulative total of 17,411,099 ordinary shares at a volume-weighted average price of 337.75 GBp per share.
