Aiyedatiwa's Aide Denies Allegations of Anti-Party Support

Steve Otaloro, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, issued a statement denying reports that Aiyedatiwa was backing candidates from other political parties ahead of the 2027 general elections. The allegations suggested that Aiyedatiwa had shifted his support from the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ondo South Senatorial District, Isaacs Kekemeke, to Matthew Oyerinmade of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Otaloro clarified that Aiyedatiwa has never supported any opposition candidate and emphasized that any claims to the contrary are false and politically motivated. He reiterated Aiyedatiwa's commitment to the APC, stating that the governor has consistently demonstrated loyalty to the party since its formation.

Additionally, Otaloro noted that Kekemeke himself has dismissed any rumors of discord with the governor, affirming Aiyedatiwa's support for his candidacy. Otaloro urged the public and APC supporters to disregard the rumors as attempts to create division within the party.
