Ajibade Celebrates PSG's Perfect Start to New Season

Rasheedat Ajibade, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), is relishing the club's perfect start to the 2026/27 season after they secured a 2-0 victory over Strasbourg Women in the second week of the French Women’s top flight. Ajibade played for 83 minutes in this match, marking PSG's second consecutive league win and maintaining their flawless record.

She expressed her joy on social media, quoting a Bible verse, stating, “+3 points secured with the girls. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit.” Following a disappointing end to the previous season, Ajibade has made a strong start this term, having scored once in the league and once in the Champions League, contributing to a 5-1 victory over Frankfurt Women.

Ajibade, who joined PSG from Atletico Madrid Women last season, aims to improve on her previous season's performance, where she scored three goals in 23 appearances, and hopes to win her first major silverware with PSG.
