Akume Backs Tinubu's Reforms and Wadada for Governor

George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, defended President Bola Tinubu's reforms aimed at correcting structural deficiencies and promoting Nigeria's development. He noted that Tinubu's administration has made significant strides, including the removal of fuel subsidies, which he described as one of the boldest decisions taken.

Akume highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects in Nasarawa State, particularly road developments that reduce travel time to Abuja. He expressed support for Ahm Wadada, who is vying for the governorship of Nasarawa State, emphasizing Wadada's experience as a former House Representative and current Chairman of the Senate Public Accounts Committee.

Akume stated that Nasarawa State cannot afford political experiments and that Wadada's leadership is essential for attracting investments and fostering development. The London Boi Movement, which aims to promote grassroots education and youth mobilization, also supports Wadada's candidacy.
