Akwa Ibom Declares 2 Doctors Wanted for Absconding Duty

The Akwa Ibom State government has declared two medical doctors, Uduakabasi Ita and Mfonobong George Bassey, wanted for absconding from their duty posts without notice. These doctors were trained by the state government and are required to serve a specified number of years in the state civil service.

Commissioner of Health, Ekim John, warned the doctors to resume duty or refund the resources spent on their training. The government aims to prevent trained medical professionals from leaving for better opportunities without serving the people of Akwa Ibom.
