Akwa Ibom and FG Collaborate to Revive State Water Supply Systems

Akwa Ibom State, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Gibb Consortium, has commenced a comprehensive facility assessment of the Akwa Ibom Water Company Limited to enhance the state's water infrastructure. The assessment aims to identify gaps and challenges in the water supply system.

Governor Umo Eno's commitment to restoring and expanding the state's water infrastructure was highlighted. The exercise will produce short, medium, and long-term intervention recommendations.
