Alake of Egbaland Lauds NANTA for Cultural Promotion

Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, the Alake of Egbaland, commended the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) for its consistent promotion of Nigerian culture and the travel industry. This commendation occurred during a visit from NANTA's AGM planning committee, led by Mr.

Lola Adewol, at the palace in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The monarch acknowledged NANTA's resilience over the past five decades and noted its commitment to strong leadership and shared vision among its members.

He assured NANTA of royal presence at the association's golden jubilee celebration and annual general meeting scheduled for April in Ibadan, Oyo State. Mr.

Lola Adewol, accompanied by NANTA's second deputy president Dr. Tokunbo Dagunduro and financial secretary Mr.

Yinka Ladipo, informed the monarch about NANTA's role in promoting Nigeria's cultural tourism, which is vital for the nation's economic and social development. The theme for NANTA's 50th anniversary focuses on embracing diverse cultural heritage and redefining its role as a global ambassador.
