Alia's N100bn Projects Boost Benue South Development

Benjamin Omale, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, reported that Governor Hyacinth Alia has executed projects exceeding N100 billion in the Benue South Senatorial District (Zone C) over the past three years. This announcement was made during the first annual convention of the Idoma Community in London, with details shared in Makurdi.

Omale highlighted that three major road projects in Zone C alone had a combined contract value of approximately N74.86 billion. Additionally, five-kilometre roads have been awarded in each of the nine local government areas within the district.

The Alia administration has also invested hundreds of billions in the other two senatorial districts, Benue North-East and Benue North-West. Omale emphasized that these infrastructure projects, which include road construction, education, and healthcare improvements, have strengthened the governor's relationship with the populace, positioning him favorably for the 2027 re-election bid.
