Aliko Dangote Foundation's Impact in Kano State Praised

Business leaders and economists in Kano State have commended the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) for its significant interventions in the region, describing them as "far-reaching and impactful." These remarks coincide with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the ADF and the Kano State Government, which allows the Foundation to manage the Aliko Dangote Skills Acquisition Centre for several years. The ADF's initiatives are recognized as crucial for industrialization and economic transformation in Nigeria and Africa, particularly in job creation and import substitution.

Additionally, the multimillion-naira Aliko Dangote Skills Acquisition Centre located in Ganaja, Kogi State, has been completed and is set for commissioning. Muhammad Bello Isyaku Umar, Chairman of the Manufacturer Association of Nigeria (MAN) Kano-Jigawa Branch, emphasized that skills acquisition is vital for tackling youth unemployment in Nigeria.
