Dr. Badaki Aliyu Commends HBS for Filling Manpower Gap in Nigerian Hospitality Industry

Dr. Badaki Aliyu, President of the Federal Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN), praised the Hospitality Business School (HBS) in Lagos for bridging the manpower gap in the Nigerian hospitality industry.

At the 2025 graduation ceremony, Aliyu emphasized the importance of hospitality education in transforming the industry. HBS's CEO, Dr.

Eric Mekwuy, highlighted the school's commitment to excellence in hospitality education, graduating over 500 students. Aliyu stressed the need for graduates to embody a service excellence culture to elevate Nigeria's hospitality sector globally.

He urged them to embrace technology, green energy, and modern travel psychology. Aliyu encouraged collaboration and networking to drive industry growth and innovation.
