Court Rejects Bail for APC Social Media Head in Cyber Stalking Case

The Magistrate Court in Yenagoa rejected the bail application for Mr. Aye Egberi, the head of the Social Media team of the Bayelsa Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mr. Egberi was remanded for alleged cyber stalking involving accusations against the State Commissioner of Police and the Governor.

The court ordered his remand for 30 days at the Okaka Medium Correctional Facility. The defense team sought bail pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution.
