Court Adjourns Abdulaziz Malami's Trial to April 15

The Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned the trial of Abdulaziz Malami, son of former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami, to April 15. Abdulaziz Malami faces five counts related to alleged terrorism financing and illegal possession of firearms.

The prosecution, represented by Akinlolu Kehind, informed the court that they received instructions to proceed with the case on Monday, but requested additional time to confer. The defense counsel, Shuaibu Arua, did not oppose the application for adjournment.

Justice Joyc Abdulmalik granted the request, leading to the postponement of the trial. The charges against Abdulaziz Malami were brought forth by the Department of State Services (DSS).
