Alleged terrorist organisations: ‘Your claims are misinformed, biased, lack evidence’ – PDP blasts Canada

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has strongly criticized the Canadian court's ruling that classified the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria as a terrorist organization. The PDP dismissed the claims as misinformed, biased, and lacking evidence, urging for the ruling to be outrightly dismissed.

The former Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd, Olufemi Soneye, warned that such a decision could set a dangerous precedent with far-reaching consequences beyond Canada's borders. The Federal Court of Canada upheld the ruling, denying asylum to a former APC member, Douglas Egharevba.

In response, the PDP's Deputy National Youth Leader, Timothy Osadolor, emphasized the importance of democracy and freedom of speech, criticizing the notion of the APC being a terrorist organization as baseless and lacking credibility.
