Alli Receives INEC Nomination as Oyo APC Governorship Candidate

On Thursday, Senator Sharafadeen Alli received the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections in Oyo State. Senator Alli, who represents the Oyo South Senatorial District, unveiled his running mate, Mr.

Adesoji Michael Adedeji, a 46-year-old economics graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University. The event took place in Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area.

Chief Mose Alak-Adeyemo, the APC chairman in Oyo State and former Deputy Governor, urged party members to unite and work together to secure victory in the upcoming elections. He emphasized the importance of setting aside grievances to support the APC.

Mr. Gbenga Olayemi, the APC Deputy National Auditor, described Senator Alli as the party's flag bearer rather than an individual candidate.
