Abia State Government Recovers Star Paper Mill to Boost Industrial Revival

The Abia State Government, led by Governor Alex Otti, has successfully taken back the Star Paper Mill from AMCON in a bid to fulfill campaign promises of industrial revival and job creation. The handover ceremony in Umuahia marked a significant milestone in the state's efforts to revitalize its industrial sector, including the revival of other key industries like Aba Textile Mill and Golden Chicken International.

The state government has completed the acquisition of Star Paper Mill Ltd for 2.5 billion Naira, with ongoing plans to attract private sector investments and create employment opportunities.
