Anambra-Imo River Basin Authority Seeks Abia's Support to Revive Agriculture

The Chairman of Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority, Senator Emmanuel Anosike, urged the Abia State Government, led by Governor Alex Otti, to support efforts aimed at reviving agriculture for the benefit of the South-East region. Anosike highlighted the decline in agricultural productivity across the region and stressed the need for stronger partnerships to revitalize agriculture.

Otti expressed readiness to collaborate, emphasizing the importance of transforming the agricultural sector in Abia State through joint technical committees and operational collaborations.
