Wike Visits London to Condole Deceased Worker’s Family

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, traveled to London on a condolence visit to the family of Patricia Mpigi, the wife of a deceased worker. During the visit, Wike expressed his commitment to support the family and ensure they receive benefits for the burial of the deceased.

He acknowledged the significant loss to the family and the community, stating that they would not be abandoned during this difficult time. Wike was accompanied by several officials, including members of the Rivers State House of Assembly and representatives from the People's Democratic Party.

He also addressed ongoing issues in the Federal Capital Territory, including the lack of amenities for 900 pupils in a park classroom. Wike's visit took place on Thursday, and he reaffirmed his dedication to the welfare of the families affected by such losses, promising to play his part in ensuring proper arrangements for the burial.
