Don Julio to Honor African Talents at AMVCA 12

Don Julio, a premium tequila brand, unveiled its plans to honor African talents at the 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA), scheduled for May 9. As the headline sponsor of the award ceremony, Don Julio aims to position itself at the forefront of influential cultural moments.

The awards will recognize excellence in three categories: Best Movie, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actress, with recipients receiving personalized engraved bottles of Don Julio 1942, one of the brand's rarest expressions. Ifeoma Agu, Head of Cultural Influence and Advocacy for Diageo South West Central Africa, emphasized the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and storytelling within Africa's film industry.

Following the ceremony, Don Julio will host an intimate dinner for winners, featuring media personality Uti Nwachukwu. The event will culminate in the Blue42 party, co-hosted with Johnnie Walker Blue Label, celebrating African talent and setting new standards in the industry.
