Anambra Police to Train Local Security Outfits for Enhanced Effectiveness

The Anambra Police Command, led by Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, is set to train local security outfits in professionalism to enhance security effectiveness.

The initiative aims to modernize the state's security processes through collaboration with local security groups. According to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer, the training is crucial as local security outfits possess valuable information and knowledge of the terrain, aiding in combating crime.

The police emphasize the need for locals to report suspicious activities to improve community policing. Additionally, preparations are underway for the upcoming governorship election in Anambra State, with plans for adequate security training in place.
