Anambra to Host Major Pharmaceutical Conference in 2026

Anambra State is set to host a significant pharmaceutical conference beginning on November 3, 2026, which is anticipated to be one of the largest gatherings of healthcare professionals in West Africa. Governor Chukwuma Soludo, represented by his Chief of Staff, Dr.

Ben Nwankwo, assured delegates of the state government's full support to ensure the conference's success. Dr.

Nwankwo noted that the state government would provide essential logistical assistance and suitable facilities for the smooth conduct of the program. The selection of Anambra as the host state reflects its growing recognition for achievements in healthcare infrastructure and economic growth.

The conference will also offer visitors opportunities to explore Anambra's modern leisure and tourism destinations, including Solut Fun City and the Anambra State Country Club. The event is part of the celebration of the centenary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, established in 1927, and aims to bring together pharmacists, healthcare practitioners, policymakers, and industry players from across the country.
