Anambra State Verifies Credentials of Community Health Workers

Anambra State has commenced a verification exercise for the credentials of 3,000 community health workers as part of efforts to eliminate quackery and enhance professional standards in healthcare delivery. The initiative is being conducted by the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board Nigeria (CHPRBN) across all 21 local government areas in the state.

The primary aim of this exercise is to identify qualified practitioners, detect fraudulent credentials, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This move is expected to strengthen the healthcare system in Anambra State by ensuring that only certified professionals are allowed to practice.
