Onyinyechi Basil Wins Miss Universe Nigeria 2025, to Represent Nigeria in Bangkok

Onyinyechi Basil from Anambra emerged as the winner of Miss Universe Nigeria 2025, following a competition held at the Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos. The event featured 22 contestants from various states, with Basil impressing the judges in different segments, including swimwear and evening gown.

The top five finalists represented Ogun, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bayelsa. Basil will represent Nigeria at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.

The winner received a cash prize, material gifts, brand endorsements, training opportunities, and paid appearances. Idah Eno from Akwa Ibom was crowned Miss Supranational Nigeria 2025 in a separate category.
