National Library Nigeria CEO Encourages Responsible AI Use at 2025 NBRP Conference

Professor Chinwe Anunobi, CEO of the National Library Nigeria, urged students at the 2025 NBRP Conference in Abuja to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly. Anunobi emphasized the importance of active knowledge production over passive consumption facilitated by AI.

She encouraged students to engage in critical thinking and writing skills, advocating for a reading culture to enrich their minds. Anunobi highlighted the need for students to be producers of knowledge rather than just consumers.

The event also saw a student from Model Secondary School Maitama emerge as the winner of the NBRP Poetry Reading Competition 2025.
