Anyim Pius Anyim Appointed Leader of South-East APC Elders

Anyim Pius Anyim has emerged as the new leader of the South-East APC Elders Forum after a meeting held in Ebonyi State. This position became vacant due to the death of the former governor of Abia State, Ogbonnaya Onu, who previously led the forum until his demise.

The forum, led by Senator Emma Anosike, reached a unanimous decision to appoint Anyim after carefully examining his track record in public service and its socio-economic and political impact on the South-East. The forum expressed confidence in Anyim's leadership capacity, describing him as a level-headed elder statesman capable of piloting the affairs of the zone.

Additionally, the forum reaffirmed its support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu's second term, indicating that his re-election is considered a "done deal.".
