APC Primaries Set for May 15 with N100m Form Fee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially scheduled its primaries to begin on May 15, 2023. The presidential nomination form is set at N100 million.

The party's national secretariat in Abuja will oversee the sale of forms, which commenced yesterday. Screening for aspirants is scheduled to take place from May 2 to May 8.

The primaries will include various categories: presidential elections on May 15, House of Representatives on May 18, Senate on May 20, and state assembly elections on May 21. Governorship primaries are slated for May 23.

Additionally, the schedule indicates that aspirants for the House of Assembly will pay N1 million for expression of interest and N5 million for the nomination form, while those for the House of Representatives will pay N1 million for expression of interest and N9 million for the nomination form. Senate aspirants will pay N3 million for expression of interest and N17 million for the nomination form, and governorship aspirants will pay N10 million for expression of interest and N40 million for the nomination form.

Presidential aspirants will pay N30 million for expression of interest and N70 million for the nomination form.
