Arewa Group Congratulates Yerima Shettima on APC Role

The Arewa Community APC in the 17 southern states has expressed congratulations to Alhaji Comrade Yerima Shettima on his recent appointment as Deputy Director, Labour Union Relations II in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The group characterized this appointment as a recognition of Shettima’s extensive political engagement, community mobilization, and contributions to socio-political development, particularly in Lagos and the South-West region.

A statement signed by Prince Alhaji Aliyu Bambado II and Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf Dandare Gulma praised Shettima for being a significant voice in the Northern socio-political landscape and for fostering relationships across various communities. His involvement with organizations such as the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum and the Northern Stakeholders Consultative Initiative was noted, alongside his experience in community development and conflict resolution.

The group urged Shettima to uphold values of loyalty and integrity as he undertakes his new responsibilities, which are aimed at mobilizing support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2027.
