APC Denies Oyinlola's Claims on Adeleke's Pressure

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has publicly criticized former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola regarding his claims that Governor Ademola Adeleke is experiencing significant pressure to defect to the APC. Kola Olabisi, the APC's Director of Media and Information, stated that Oyinlola's assertions are unfounded and contradict the actual developments within the party.

Oyinlola had mentioned during an interview that Adeleke's confidants revealed he faced considerable pressure, even suggesting it brought him to tears. However, Olabisi accused Adeleke of fabricating sentiments to gain public sympathy and expressed disbelief in the genuineness of the alleged pressure, describing it as inflated.

He further dismissed the notion that Adeleke was being coerced to join the APC, labeling the claims as lacking merit and logic. Olabisi emphasized that such allegations are intended to divert attention from the internal challenges faced by the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and criticized the PDP's struggles in Osun State and across the nation.
