APC Leaders Urged to Ignore Bauchi Primary Review Calls

Comrade Sani Danaudi, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party's national chairman, Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, to ignore calls for a review of the party's gubernatorial primary process in Bauchi State.

This statement follows the emergence of Barr. Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar as the APC gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 general elections.

Danaudi described the calls for a review as politically motivated and lacking credibility, urging the group behind the calls, the Katagum Youth Progress Group (KYPD), to abandon their campaign and instead support peace and progress within the party. He emphasized that the APC's governorship ticket remains a strategic option for the upcoming elections, citing Abubakar's past administrative record and grassroots appeal.

Danaudi warned against internal conspiracies that could undermine the party's interests and called for unity among APC stakeholders in Bauchi State to ensure electoral success in 2027.
