APC Forms Campaign Council for Osun Governorship Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formed its National Campaign Council in preparation for the Osun State governorship election set for August 15, 2026. Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has been appointed as the chairman of the council.

The announcement was made by APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka and detailed in a notice signed by the party's National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru. The council includes prominent figures such as Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas as co-chairmen.

Ibrahim Kabir Masari serves as the Deputy Chairman, while Barau I. Jibrin is the Secretary.

The council comprises governors, National Working Committee members, National Assembly principal officers, ministers, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the APC has established specialized sub-committees to manage various aspects of the campaign, including election planning, finance, grassroots engagement, and media relations, to ensure effective execution of campaign activities.
