APC Rejects ADC's Claims on INEC Delisting Decision

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected claims made by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) that it was involved in the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) decision to delist the ADC. APC's National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the ADC's allegations as "escapist" and "irresponsible," asserting that the ADC's challenges stem from self-inflicted issues rather than external interference.

INEC announced its decision to delist key figures from the ADC, including National Chairman David Mark and National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola, following a court order to maintain the status quo pending the outcome of a trial. The ADC is currently facing a prolonged leadership crisis, with disputes over the tenure of former National Chairman Ralph Nwosu, whose term ended in August 2022.

The APC emphasized that its actions were in compliance with legal judgments and electoral guidelines, criticizing the ADC for its internal rifts and inability to manage its affairs effectively.
